  2. 1 small bowl yellow/black mustard seed paste
  3. 2 tablespoons of turmeric
  4. Coriander leaves for garnish
  5. 2 small potatoes (cut into wedges) optional
  6. 1 tablespoon of Kaljira
  7. 3-4 finely chopped green peppers

Steps to make Parashe Fish Dhal (Bangla Style).

  1. Thaw the fish and add turmeric powder and salt and fry until golden.
  2. Pour a little oil in a pan and fry the cabbage until fragrant. Fry the potatoes and add mustard paste, chili pepper and hot water. Bring the mixture to a boil and add the fish, cover and simmer for a few more minutes
  3. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with white rice.
